Nanping, a prefecture-level city of Fujian Province, lies in northern Fujian on the southeastern flank of the northern Wuyi Mountains, at the junction of Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi provinces. Commonly known as Minbei, it borders Zhejiang Province to the northeast, Jiangxi Province to the northwest, Ningde City to the southeast and Sanming City to the southwest. Over the past decade, the number of expressway media billboards has dropped by 95%.
